Ivy Lowe – Award Winning Hair Stylist
Ivy is our other new addition and we feel privileged to have her on board.  Ivy has been hairdressing for 13 years spending many of this time styling at Rodney Wayne salons, managing the Newmarket branch for 5 years.  To name some of Ivy’s many accolades:

Stylist of the Year 2006-07 (Rodney Wayne Northern Region),

Technician of the Year 1999 (RW) and

Newcomer Stylist of the Year 2001 (RW)….Wow!!!

She is trained in specialized micro-linking hair extensions.Her hairdressing style is creative, complimentary and feminine.

As well as hairdressing at an amazingly high standard, Ivy was a trainer in her last salon and is a Mum to her beautiful 1 year old daughter.  She is so excited to have found a salon like D’Aguiar, where everyone enjoys being part of the team. After coming back from maternity leave, she was struggling to find a place that felt like home. Ivy is excited about getting to know you.

Carmen Yegambaram – Senior Beauty Therapist
Carmen has been a Beauty Therapist with D’Aguiar: hair.skin.nails since March 2009. She is a full time integral part of our team and a wealth of knowledge on all things beauty.

Carmen loves nothing more than learning the nitty gritty so if you have any questions on ageing, pigmentation, breakouts or hair growth, no doubt she’ll have the answers.

I have lost count of the number of clients who have called her the ‘pain free’ waxer!

Carmen completed her beauty training at The Elite International College on the Joyce Block Campus in 2007 and went on to be awarded with International certificate Cidesco and Joyce Block Award. Before joining D’Aguiar: hair.skin.nails she worked at The Beauty Connection in Newmarket for 18 months.

Her favourite treatment to give is pedicures and waxing and loves to get her hair done and is up to anything when our hairdressers are feeling creative! In her downtime Carmen enjoys the gym and walking her dog as well as socialising with her friends.

D’Aguiar: hair.skin.nails would like to welcome Damian Sharp to the team! Damian is the newest member of the D’Aguiar: hair.skin.nails team and brings with him oodles of experience and positivity! There’s never a dull moment when Damian is around.

Damian (27), LOVES to do sexy short crops, bobs with a twist, fringes that people notice, colour that lasts and volume.

He has had 6 years experience mainly in the UK, enjoys doing both women’s and men’s styling and has appeared on stage at Salon International (UK) 2008.

Damian says of himself, “I am a typical Yorkshire lad from Leeds who enjoys having a laugh and being different. I am pretty down to earth and brutally honest!!!”

Damian can’t wait to meet all his lovely new D’Aguiar customers and WOW them with his skills.
